Here's some info on the minimum standards we expect from Our Vendors on how and when They get Your products safely to You.
We and Our Vendors offer variable delivery options which are usually reflected in the cost of postage and packaging.
Before You purchase Your item, and to avoid possible problems or misunderstandings, You should consider the postage and packaging costs of the postal services on offer before You buy a product.
Before You choose a postage and packaging option You should consider the timescale You require the product delivering in. As a general rule the faster You want the goods the more expensive the postage and packaging will be.
Before You choose a postage and packaging option You should consider the level of visibility You require in tracking Your order and the level of security You want on recording Your delivery being made. As a general rule the more visbility and security You want the more expensive the postage and packaging will be.
We and our Vendors will aim to ensure that your order is fulfilled according to the delivery service option you chose at checkout, unless there are exceptional circumstances, although we cannot guarantee to do so. Any delivery date set out in an Order Update is to be treated as an estimate only as to the date of delivery.
For the purpose of delivery, orders placed after 2pm shall be treated as having been placed on the following working day. For the purposes of the terms and conditions, a ‘working day’ shall be any day from Monday to Friday inclusive, (excluding statutory holidays in England).
Our Vendors may use a number of carriers to deliver Your Order. The Vendor will use the carrier which most closely matches the postage and packaging option You selected.
You may specify a different delivery address to Your billing address upon placing Your order. Products can only be delivered to addresses in the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland, Isle of Anglesey, Isle of Wight, Scilly Isles and the Scottish Islands). Vendors do not deliver to PO Box addresses. Vendors can deliver to a UK BFPO address although they will not be able to dispatch dangerous products such as aerosols and flammables to a BFPO address.
Depending on the postage and packaging option You chose a signature may be required to confirm delivery. If You chose an option which requires a signature and one cannot be obtained from the address You specified when placing the order, the courier may ask a neighbour to sign for the order or return the product to either a local Post Office or Distribution Depot where You may have to arrange for re-delivery or collect in person.
